The active ingredients in Aqua Salveo are minute traces of silver, zinc and copper that are safe for humans, but deadly to disease causing organisms such as bacteria, fungi, parasites, protozoa and certain viruses.
Silver a broad-spectrum disinfecting Bactericide that can significantly reduce the severity and length of almost any type of bacterial infection. Tests show that silver ions are toxic to all tested species of bacteria. Silver ions have also proven useful against many different infectious conditions and are non-toxic in its micro-concentrations.
Zinc Works as an immune booster enhances fertility digestion etc it drives the manufacturing DNA wound healing maintaining a strong immune system to fighting colds influenza and other infections the human body does not produce zinc on its own so it must be obtained from outside sources.
Copper is involved in the maintenance of immunity and fertility. It is believed to play a role in preventing high blood pressure, heart arrhythmia, oxidation of the cells and keeping cholesterol low. Copper is used by the body to manufacture numerous enzymes, many of which work as antioxidants.
It disinfects water within 30-60 minutes and you only need 3 drops per liter. The water will remain disinfected for 10 years and contains no chlorine and is odorless and tasteless. Aqua Salveo is South Africa Bureau of Standards (SABS) approved. The SABS tests show that 3 drops per litre makes the most infected water safe to drink within 30 - 60 minutes. After water is treated with Aqua Salveo, it will remain safe for 10 years in storage.
It is a concentrated liquid that basically needs to be diluted by adding 3 drops (0.09ml) to every litre of water for storage. It improves both the taste and quality of treated water. Aqua Salveo treated water does not require refrigeration and can be stored at room temperature.

Aqua Salveo Water Disinfectant
Aqua Salveo is a stable, soluble, odourless and tasteless liquid supplied in 10ml, 30ml, and 100ml polyethylene dropper bottles. It is effective in destroying bacteria found in drinking water such as Vibrio Cholera and E. Coli. Aqua Salveo can be used for water purification, external applications and personal hygiene (e.g. treatment of skin infections, disinfection of bath water), and domestic uses (e.g. rinse meat prior to cooking and storing).
Aqua Salveo Human Glove (Hand Sanitizer)
Human glove provides instant protection against a wide range of bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. Its protection does not diminish after it has dried on the skin. It sustains its efficacy from four to seven hours and repels most soil and damaging agents. Human glove is bottled in an ISO 9000:2000 manufacturing plant compliant to: SABS 1853/1615/1828 and is a Product of South Africa. This product is alcohol-free.
Surface Sanitizer
A Surface Sanitizer forms an anti-bacterial layer on the surface in minutes after application that remains effective for up to 24 hours and up to 14 days on hard surfaces. Surface Sanitizer is used on work surfaces, kitchen tops, medical implements and other equipment in need of long term sterilization. The product is alcohol free, has strong antibacterial properties and keeps on working for an extended period.

International Exposure
A meeting that took place six years ago changed the course of business for the South Africa-based clean-water company Aqua Salveo, transforming it from a smaller-scale business to a global supplier of goods.
As part of a buyer-seller meeting organized in Johannesburg in November 2008 under the International Trade Centre’s (ITC) Buying from Africa for Africa initiative, the company presented its business case to 29 aid agencies and 71 companies during one-on-one meetings, showcasing products such as its water disinfectant, anti-bacterial gloves and surface sanitizer.
As a result, Aqua Salveo secured orders including one from UNICEF. That in turn led to the company becoming registered as a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Level 1 vendor for orders up to US$ 500,000. Currently we have been upgraded to Level 2.
Aqua Salveo was one of 350 companies that benefitted from the Buying from Africa for Africa initiative, which set out to increase the share of African vendors in aid procurement.
Aqua Salveo has since received international accreditations and expanded into the rest of Africa, South America and Europe.
Aqua Salveo was present at 6th World Water Forum in France and was chosen as one of the new Global Solution Companies of the world for Water and Sanitation.
